Plot summary
Jamie Block had a career as an indie-rock musician and a record deal, and now has neither. He is divorced, he works as a stockbroker, and he longs to play again. Onur Tukel, a middle-aged filmmaker, has recently settled in Brooklyn and convinces Block to put his savings into a string of music videos meant to relaunch him. Block's teenaged daughters, Sophie and Johanna, are indifferent to him, and he casts them in the videos to impress them. Tension grows between the musician and the director as the money goes out.
