Plot summary
Mansi runs the household and looks after the couple's daughter while Amar, her husband of many years, brings home a steady salary. The family lives comfortably, though there is never room for extras. When Mansi takes the girl shopping for shoes, she finds the prices beyond her and turns to leave the shop. A fellow customer, Reena, feels sorry for her and offers to cover the cost. Mansi accepts, though not easily, and does not see that Reena has an agenda of her own. Wanting more than the household budget allows, and finding her husband's income short of it, Mansi is drawn into meetings with another man that bring her gifts and money, kept from Amar.
