Plot summary

In 2007, Chaeyoung is fifteen and receives a diagnosis of anorexia; she is admitted to a mental hospital. Her mother, Sangok, is left carrying guilt and tries to work out what caused her daughter's illness, with nothing that tells her. The film draws on Chaeyoung's diary, on her drawings and on her voice-over, and it looks at mother and daughter across three generations of the family: the grandmother, the mother and the daughter.
