Plot summary
Cliff and Cydney travel to Hawaii for their honeymoon and set out on a hike toward a remote beach. Cliff writes screenplays, and in the car the couple make a travel video before spending a night in a hotel. On the road they meet Cleo, who tries to hitch a ride, and hot-headed Kale, who leads her away. Further along the trail they befriend Nick, a former soldier, and his girlfriend Gina, and the four walk on together. Word arrives of a double homicide on the islands, and a man and a woman are suspected. The group grows wary of one another. Nick learns of Cliff's work and presses him for a script about his own life.
