Plot summary
Chan Wai serves as police chief in a small village on a rural Hong Kong island, a posting that followed a bad experience with an AK-47 during his years in the city. The work is uneventful. He spends his hours drinking beer, smoking hash and daydreaming. That quiet ends when a group of heavily armed men enter the district, carrying AK-47s and .45s. Chan Wai has only a .38 and a baton, and the weapon that once shook him is back in front of him. His ex-wife and the officers who serve alongside him are in the same district, and he is the one who must face the intruders.
