Plot summary
Old Red is a cherry red 1964 Ford F-100 in mint condition, a gift to Desi from her father, who has died. The diner she owns, The Dine and Dash, carries a stack of mounting unpaid bills, and the truck is what she means to sell to clear them. On a last visit to Old Red, Desi finds an old audio cassette and plays it. Her father's voice is on the recording, and it sends her and the truck out to retrace the family's most memorable moments one last time.
