Plot summary
Wes King is an American doctor who believes God has given him a mission: to help the orphaned and abandoned children of South America. In the villages that border the Amazon rainforest, children, toddlers and teenagers dig through trash cans for food, carry knives to defend themselves at night, and live with the fear of being forced into sex trafficking. King goes to Ecuador, where he opens an orphanage for the hungry and homeless children he meets there. He trusts that God will use the orphanage to bring hope and healing to children who had been forgotten.
