Plot summary
For Lyosha, a teenage boy, Vika is the first person he has felt this way about. He noticed her among her friends and thinks about her constantly. He has found her profile and studies her photographs, learning a good deal about her, and Vika does not know about any of it. The school she attends and the apartment block where she lives are enemy territory for him, places he is not welcome to enter. He goes anyway, to a disco at her school, where the other boys see an intruder and Lyosha gathers his nerve to ask Vika to dance.
