Plot summary
Joseph Crone, an American writer, has lost his wife Sarah and their son Diogo, and with them his faith. He attends a support group, where he meets Sadie, and after a car accident he walks away unhurt while the other driver is killed. His watch has stopped at 11:11. His estranged brother Samuel calls from Spain to say their father Richard is dying, so Joseph travels to Barcelona. Samuel, who uses a wheelchair, asks Joseph to stay with him and their father. The housekeeper Ana shows Joseph a security video from November 3 that appears to capture a demon at 11:11. Ana's diary says that people who keep seeing 11:11 have been activated.
