Plot summary
Zero Days examines Stuxnet, a self-replicating computer worm that information security experts discovered in 2010. The investigation traced the code to malware known as Olympic Games, evidently commissioned by the United States and Israeli governments to sabotage Iran's nuclear program, including centrifuges at an enrichment facility. The worm did not remain at its intended target and spread beyond it. The account also covers claims that Iranian civilian infrastructure was threatened and the risk that this malware could be deployed against the United States by Iran in retaliation.
