Plot summary
A documentary profile of Peter Sellers, a comic icon and an innovator, gathers interviews with friends, fans and colleagues. It asks how a talent loved around the world could hold such a distorted opinion of his own worth. Sellers saw himself as entirely alone. He said the finished film was the only portrait that really understood him, and British television banned it in 1971.
