Plot summary
The sardine run is the yearly migration of billions of sardines up South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal coast. Dolphins, whales, sharks, gannets and seals come to the same waters to feed, and the underwater feeding frenzy gathers around the shoals off the Wild Coast. The animals that join the run now depend on people to survive, and local communities work to protect the sardines and the sea life that depends on them.
