Plot summary
Natalia is nineteen and a novice in a convent. Word reaches her that her father is dying, so she returns to the family home, where her sister Ángela is waiting. Ángela and her friends are preparing a journey, and she asks Natalia to come with them. The destination is a mysterious place, and the reason for the trip is a plant the group believes has mystical properties. Natalia travels with them into the jungle.
