Plot summary
Glenn Manning was an Army lieutenant colonel who was exposed to the radiation of an atomic bomb and grew into a giant. When he fell from the Hoover Dam, he was believed dead. Now food delivery trucks in rural Mexico are being robbed, and Glenn's sister Joyce becomes convinced that the raids mean her brother is alive after all. She travels to Mexico with Army Major Mark Baird and the scientist Dr. Carmichael to look for him. The search leads them into the countryside, where they find a man disfigured and nearly mindless from the trauma of his fall, and very angry.

- To hide that a different actor was now playing Colonel Glenn Manning, the producers put very heavy make-up on Dean Parkin, since a flashback dream sequence used Glenn Langan, the star of The Amazing Colossal Man.
