Plot summary
Morgan and Catherine Norvell have set their course for the year ahead. Their sailboat waits in Monte Carlo, provisioned for the crossing to Malta, where the two of them plan to live aboard. They have also bought property that carries the ruins of an old hotel, and rebuilding it is their aim. Days before they mean to leave, they meet Gil and Ronnie Freeland, who ask for a couple of days at sea. The four of them are soon sailing together.
