Plot summary
Two women, Fran and Miriam, are shot dead in bed at a country house in rural England and come back as vampires, drawing unsuspecting people to the run-down estate to feed on their blood. John and Harriet, a young couple traveling through the English countryside, camp in their caravan near the house for several days. Harriet is uneasy about the area and says she saw a second woman behind a tree when they passed Fran. In a rainstorm that night, Harriet notices lights in the house and a figure peering into the caravan; John checks and finds nothing. In the morning Ted, a middle-aged man, drives past a single-car crash and a dead man, then gives Fran a ride to the house.
