Union (2018) on Netflix

Plot summary

After she is wounded in a cavalry skirmish at Cold Harbor, a woman riding with the Confederate army under her dead brother Henry's name is set on living and loving without reserve. She resolves to find Virginia Klaising, the widow who saved her at Antietam. Virginia can hold on to her farm only by marrying a man she does not love. Word of that reaches Henry in the Blue Ridge, where the people who shelter her recognize her as two-spirit and hide her from Union forces while they prepare her to be reunited with Virginia. She marries Virginia, and each keeps the other's secret.
