Plot summary
Tony Reagan once belonged to the Chicago syndicate and was run out of town for seeing Big Jim's niece. He is now in Reno, where he means to put money into a lodge with an army friend's father. There he runs into Danny Morgan, a colleague from Chicago, and both men expect to marry soon. Flying to Chicago to propose to Sally Lee, he shares the trip with Ann McKnight, a schoolteacher he met in a Reno casino and helped win at the tables. Police meet his plane, warned he plans to stir up trouble with Big Jim.
