Trailer

Plot summary

Guthrie McCabe is the marshal of Tascosa, where he takes a percentage of the deals done in town, among them the saloon and brothel belonging to Belle Aragon, who has just proposed that they marry. A troop under First Lt. Jim Gary brings him to Fort Grant, where Major Frazer needs him. Relatives of white prisoners held by the Comanches are asking the army to bring them home, but a treaty bars soldiers from Comanche lands. McCabe wants a large payment before he will bargain with Chief Quanah Parker for the captives' release, and he rides out with Gary into Comanche territory.
