Plot summary
Scientists describe the future as a great cause for concern, and the documentary answers them without giving in to catastrophism. It collects cases from ten countries where projects are already working, grouped in five chapters: agriculture, energy, economy, democracy and education, and treats them as answers to environmental and social problems of the twenty-first century. The initiatives shown come from France, including Réunion, Finland, Denmark, Belgium, India, the United Kingdom, the United States, Switzerland, Sweden and Iceland. The production team fell short of its funding, so on 27 May 2014 it began crowdfunding on KissKissBankBank with a goal of 200,000 euros; by 26 July 10,266 contributors had given 444,390 euros, more than a quarter of the budget.
