Plot summary
Sibil Fox Richardson, who goes by Fox Rich, is an entrepreneur, author and mother of six, and she calls herself an abolitionist. Her husband, Rob, is in the Louisiana State Penitentiary, serving a 60-year sentence for taking part in an armed bank robbery. Rich served three and a half years herself for her role in that robbery. She raises her children and campaigns to bring him home. The documentary draws on home video she recorded over 18 years along with original footage.

- Garrett Bradley met Sibil Fox Richardson in 2016 while making a short film about her; when shooting ended, Rich handed over a bag of mini-DV tapes holding roughly 100 hours of home video she had recorded over 18 years, and Bradley turned the short into a feature.
