Plot summary
A culture jamming group, the Yes Men, turns satirical performance art into political argument. Two of its members use the aliases Andy Bichlbaum and Mike Bonanno. Posing as public relations staff, they hold fake press conferences at which they announce that a corporation, a government or another organization has adopted a new, leftist position. Their targets are companies and organizations that deny climate change. The stunts are meant to focus notice on corporate greed and on dangers to the environment.
