Plot summary
Nelson Hibbert, an executive at Nagel Industries, has spent years angling for the company presidency, and he is engaged to one of Mr. Nagel's daughters. The promotion goes to another employee, and after an angry scene Nelson vows to kill his boss while security hauls him out of the building. He finds Mr. Nagel murdered and assumes the blame will fall on him, so he runs, though the authorities already know who committed the murder.
