Plot summary
In Rio de Janeiro, a public competition for a federal judge position reaches its final stage. On the day of the last test, each of the four finalists makes an unusual entrance. Rogério Carlos arrives with a group of women dressed as transvestites. A candidate from São Paulo rides up on a motorcycle driven by Martinha. Caio steps out of a vehicle that overturns, handcuffed and under escort. Freitas comes in an ambulance beside his pregnant wife, Mariana, and is carried into the hall on a stretcher by candomblé practitioners. The story then moves back one week to show the four meeting and getting into various confusions as they prepare for the competition.
