Plot summary
The slum districts of Osaka are home to young people with no futures, who take part in theft, assault and robbery, in prostitution, and in trade in identity cards and blood. Alliances among the district's young people shift constantly. Shin leads an upstart gang, and he moves it often from place to place so as to keep clear of the district's established kingpin. Takeshi, a new member of the gang, and Tatsu, his friend since boyhood, join it reluctantly. Hanako is a young woman with ambitions of her own. She works with her father, Yotsematsu, in the blood business, and then joins forces with Shin.
