Plot summary

In southern Appalachia, conservationists work to shape the Pisgah-Nantahala Forest Plan, which the US Forest Service is now finalizing. This plan will guide how the Pisgah and Nantahala national forests are cared for over the next two decades. The film follows these conservationists in their struggle to manage two of America's most important national forests.
