The Quiet Son (2024) on Netflix

Plot summary

Louis is the younger son, the better student, and the one who leaves home for the Sorbonne in Paris. Their father, Pierre, is a widower in his fifties who has raised both sons alone. His brother Félix, whom everyone calls Fus, is a little older and has had less luck with school; he stays with his father and grows increasingly secretive. Fascinated by violence, Fus is pulled toward far-right extremist groups, whose ideas are the opposite of everything Pierre believes. Pierre does not understand the ideology his son has taken up, and he tries to keep the bond between them even as Fus pulls further away.
