Hanif travels with Nadya and the children, Sandi, Dina and Haqi, to the orphanage where he grew up, to visit Pak Bandi, the caretaker from his boyhood who is now bedridden. On the road the car hits something, and Hanif finds a deer. At the orphanage, Hanif's childhood friends Anton and Jefri are there with their wives, Eva and Lina, and Maman and Siti now look after the place. Most of the children are away on a bus trip, so only Hasbi and Rani are around.
