Plot summary
A shift is under way in science. A materialist view still prevails, yet many researchers are building a framework around consciousness. Amit Goswami, Ph.D., is a pioneer of that position, and he sets out what he takes to be the unbounded potential of consciousness as the basis of all that exists. He argues that the idea can improve how people live, and that his reading of physics points to unity across the world's religions and mystical traditions. He also recounts his own route from the faith of his childhood into nuclear and theoretical quantum physics.
