Plot summary
Rumors of a sea monster hang over a secluded ocean cove. A fisherman is killed at sea and his body, marked by radiation burns, washes up on the beach. Biologist Ted Baxter and Federal Agent William Grant decide to look into the death. After two young divers are killed in the same water, the two men decide to dive there themselves. Dr. King, a marine biologist, runs secretive experiments in his laboratory, and foreign agents want his scientific work. On the sea bottom lies a glowing radioactive rock, and the creature that guards it. Dr. King's daughter Lois grows close to Ted.
