Plot summary
Ha Chae-yoon is a crisis negotiator for the Seoul police. Ten days after a hostage operation in Yangjae-dong, she considers resigning, but her colleague Ahn Hyeok-soo calls her in. At a secret location, Commissioner Moon Jong-hyuk and Secretary Gong order her to negotiate with Min Tae-gu, a UK citizen and international arms dealer. He kidnapped several Korean nationals from Bangkok, among them a reporter, Lee Su-mok, and holds them on an island in the Malacca Straits. Offended by Min, Chae-yoon hangs up on him twice, then takes over the call from Chief Han when the talks stall.
