Memoir of a Murderer (2017) on Netflix

Plot summary

Byeong-soo once killed people he judged to deserve it and buried them in a bamboo grove. A car accident left him with Alzheimer's disease, and he stopped. He works as a veterinarian and lives with his daughter Eun-hee, who keeps a tape recorder running so he can recall his days. He types what he remembers into a memoir, and at poetry class Jo Yeon-joo takes an interest in him. When two young women are murdered in the small town, Byeong-soo cannot tell whether he is responsible and checks the grove for fresh graves. Driving home, he collides with another car, spots a bloody bag in its trunk and collects a sample on his handkerchief, though the driver says it holds a deer.
