Plot summary
Karim Zahwani is a Moroccan-Dutch man who lives in Rotterdam. He has kept up appearances for years. He tells his parents, Fatima Zahwani and Abbas Zahwani, that he is attracted to men. The word is finally out. The days that follow are difficult, and they bring back memories that are beautiful and poignant. He knows he has to confront his family and break the silence. But before he can be accepted, he has to accept himself.
