Plot summary

Marrakech is home to Noha, Randa, Soukaina and Hlima, four women who earn their living by selling sex. Other women in the city work the same way, and among themselves the four share joy and a sense of complicity. Men pay for their company and then condemn them, and Morocco's culture is unforgiving toward women in this profession. Pimps take a share of what the women earn, and police officers profit from the trade as well. The relations the four keep with their families are complicated by the work they do, and the violence of the society around them is something they face together.
