Plot summary
The summer after high school graduation, a group of friends face what comes next. Griffin Hourigan is set to start at Columbia with help from his father, though he would rather study music, and he volunteers to assist Phoebe Fisher with the documentary she is making to fund her own college plans. Erin and Alec, a couple for two years, agree to separate before they leave. Audrey, whose grades and after-school job limited her college options, takes a nanny job for Lilah, a child actress whose mother is determined to make her a star. Foster, Alec's friend and coworker, works his way through a list of women he hopes to sleep with. Chad and Reece, bound for a wedding rehearsal dinner, stop at a bar where the businessmen drinking there take them for professional traders.
