Plot summary
In Slovakia, a reporter who worked on corruption cases and his fiancée are killed in their home. The deaths bring crowds into the streets in numbers the country has not seen since communism fell. Then a source hands the dead man's colleagues the secret file from the murder case. It contains the computers and encrypted communications of a businessman the file names as the alleged mastermind of the assassination, a man with close ties to the ruling party. The journalists then begin working through those messages, looking for how far the document reaches into the country's courts, its prosecutors' offices and its police.
