The Jeffrey Dahmer Files (2012) on Netflix

Plot summary

Milwaukee, summer 1991. Jeffrey Dahmer is taken into custody in the city, and the people who crossed his path are asked what they saw of him. Three of them sit for interviews: the medical examiner who worked the case, the police detective who questioned Dahmer, and the next door neighbor who lived beside him. Their recollections are set beside archival footage from the period and staged scenes of Dahmer at home and around town, the routines of an ordinary man. The accounts look back at the arrest and at the years that followed. Production took three years, on Super 16 mm, largely in Milwaukee.
