Plot summary
Federal authorities spent years investigating the Earth Liberation Front, a radical environmental movement whose members set fires at facilities involved in deforestation. One of those charged was Daniel McGowan, an Oregon activist who became involved with the group in 1996. Former members, police investigators and the prosecutor describe the movement and the case, which examines the ethics of the group and the nature of eco-terrorism.
