The Girl Who Played with Fire (2009) on Netflix

Plot summary

Mikael Blomkvist continues as an editor at Millennium magazine, where he has taken on the journalist Dag Svensson, who is writing an exposé on prostitution and the trafficking of women from Eastern Europe. Lisbeth Salander has come back to Sweden after nearly a year abroad, and she warns Nils Bjurman, the guardian who abused her, against removing the tattoo she gave him. Before going on holiday, Dag asks Blomkvist to stop by his apartment for some photographs and to look into a man called Zala. Blomkvist arrives to find Dag and his girlfriend Mia Bergman murdered, and the gun is traced to Bjurman, also dead. Salander's fingerprints are on the gun, and the police make her their prime suspect. She tells Blomkvist that she killed no one.
