Plot summary
Radha writes plays and teaches in New York, and her fortieth birthday is near. She won a 30 under 30 award almost ten years ago, and it has not led anywhere. Her agent and friend Archie brings her newest play, Harlem Ave, to J. Whitman, a wealthy producer, who says the work should focus more on Black suffering and offers her a job writing a Harriet Tubman musical. Hearing rap outside her apartment, Radha starts writing raps, a passion she developed and abandoned in high school, and invents the name RadhaMUSPrime.
