Plot summary
A cop's life is in ruins and his superiors are watching for an excuse to dismiss him, so losing his service weapon is not something he can report. One night he intervenes when rockers harass a seventeen-year-old girl who lives on the street. She takes his car and his gun and leaves. He sets out to find her before he has to admit the gun is gone, and the trail ends at the Dutch border, where German border police stop her. To recover his weapon he overpowers the officers and brings the girl along, since she could testify against him. The two of them are fugitives now, with no destination in mind.
