The Butterfly's Dream (2013) on Netflix

Plot summary

Zonguldak, 1941. Muzaffer Tayyip Uslu and Rüştü Onur are friends who belong to the Garip movement and give their hours to literature, mostly poetry. Both are ill with tuberculosis, and both write and publish poems while the young Republic modernizes and war goes on in Europe. They hope to become known poets and to draw their town toward verse. Suzan Özsoy, a high school student, catches their attention, and the two friends make a bet: each will write a poem for her. She becomes close to both of them, which her family dislikes, and tuberculosis increasingly threatens the health of both of them.
