Plot summary
In Black Water, a woman's body has been found in the woods every ten years for four decades, drained of blood and marked with bite wounds. Raymond Banks sits on death row for the murders, but Danielle Mason, who lives in the town, is convinced he is innocent. To gather proof, she persuades her friends Andrea and Rob to go into the forest with her, and they bring Anthony along to record the trip. The four hear local tales of supernatural creatures and meet unsettling townspeople. Rob has doubts, yet the group commits to a three-day hike toward the site where one of the bodies was discovered. They lose their way.
