Plot summary
Leaked video of police interrogations anchors this account of the bribery and fraud case against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The interrogation audio had circulated before; the video had not. Recorded between 2016 and 2018, the sessions put him, his wife Sara and his son Yair on camera. Insiders describe expensive gifts of jewelry, cigars and champagne that reached the couple from wealthy businesspeople, among them Arnon Milchan, and say favors were sought in return. Netanyahu is defensive under questioning, calling the investigation preposterous and denying that he solicited anything. Investigators take testimony from hundreds of witnesses, among them members of his household and his former staff.
