Plot summary
A planet's inhabitants, fearing that Earth will destroy the universe if it is not destroyed first, decide to make contact with it. On Earth, the gangsters Nat Burdell and Brad Conley abduct the wealthy Margaret Chaffee, and with Esther Malone, a gun moll, they drive into the San Gabriel Mountains to wait for the ransom her father has been told to pay. A geologist named Dick Cutler, staying in a cabin there, sees a light fall through the sky and believes a meteor has landed; what comes out of the smoke instead is a glowing blonde woman in a skintight leotard, whose touch kills. The gangsters take shelter in Cutler's cabin.

- On the first day of filming, the back of Shirley Kilpatrick's She-Monster costume split open when she bent over, and with no time for repairs she was directed, for the rest of the shoot, to walk backwards out of every scene she had walked into frontwards.
