Plot summary
Jacey was born on Christmas in Calvary, a small mountain town where her parents are named Joseph and Mary. Before dying, her grandmother hands her a mystical ring and tells her she is the chosen one who can stop the worldwide destruction the Maya prophecy sets for December 21, 2012. The disasters follow the days of the holiday song "The 12 Days of Christmas", one catastrophe for each day, and the five gold rings carry a messianic gift. With the townspeople turning on Jacey and blaming her for what has befallen Calvary, her father tries to hold them off as the disasters go on.
