That Kind of Summer (2022) on Netflix

Plot summary

Geisha, Léonie and Eugénie have come by choice to a house by a lake, where they will stay for twenty-six days in the middle of summer. The point of the stay is to look at the sexual discomfort each of them carries, not to undergo a course of treatment. Geisha is young, Léonie somber, Eugénie unpredictable. A German therapist and a social worker share the house with them, offering guidance and working to keep the group steady; the therapist keeps her distance, while the social worker shows care. Across the twenty-six days, each of the three has to hold herself together and stay with the present.
