Plot summary
Merrill Nisker performs under the name Peaches, and she has spent more than two decades pushing at gender stereotypes. In 2022 she toured to mark twenty years of The Teaches of Peaches, the album that first brought her international attention. Rehearsals and concert footage from that anniversary tour appear alongside private material kept in her own archive, and together they trace how a Canadian performer built a celebrated electro-clash identity. Musicians she has worked with over the years also appear. Its first screening came at the Berlin International Film Festival, where it took a Teddy Award for Best LGBTQ Documentary.
