Plot summary
Isabel is eleven, and after her grandfather is hurt in a car accident the family gathers at their historical home in Holland. From his sickbed the grandfather points the children toward the sword that the musketeer D'Artagnan promised their ancestor centuries ago and that has been missing ever since. Isabel, Rik and Jules set out with a few clues from his bedside and a scrap of a map. Finding the sword will take the bravery, loyalty and perseverance the musketeer was known for, and it could also save her grandfather and bring the family back together. The children work out the clues, and find they are not alone in wanting the sword.
