Plot summary
After their parents are killed in an accident, Sophie Meijer shares a home with her older brother Kevin. When Kevin's salary is cut, she takes a job as a babysitter for Richard and Annette van der Werff, a couple she finds strange. On her first evening in their house, a spirit that appears in the shape of a clown haunts her. The van der Werffs' home keeps a secret, and Sophie comes face to face with it that night.
